About this product

Nair Face Cream uses calcium thioglycolate — a depilatory agent that breaks down the keratin protein bonds in the hair shaft, dissolving the hair at and just below the skin's surface. Unlike shaving, which cuts hair at the surface and leaves a blunt, stubbly regrowth, depilatory creams remove the entire hair shaft above the follicle, resulting in a softer, smoother regrowth and longer-lasting smoothness.

This formula is specifically developed for facial skin — gentler than body depilatory formulas, with sweet almond oil (Prunus amygdalus dulcis) to moisturise and condition the skin during the hair removal process. Results are visible in as little as 5 minutes, with a maximum application time of 10 minutes.

How to use

Before first use and before each use: Perform a patch test — apply a small amount to the area to be treated, follow directions, and wait 24 hours. If skin appears normal, proceed with full application.

To apply:

• Remove all makeup from the area
• Squeeze cream onto fingertips and smooth on a thick, even layer to cover hair — do not rub in
• Wash hands immediately after application
• Leave on for 5 minutes, then check a small area for hair removal
• If hair does not come off after 5 minutes, leave on for a few minutes longer — do not exceed 10 minutes total

To remove:

• Gently wipe off cream and hair with a damp washcloth — do not rub
• Rinse skin thoroughly with lukewarm water
• Pat dry

Wait 72 hours between uses.
Do not use on: irritated, sunburned, inflamed, or broken skin. Do not use around eyes, in nose, in ears, on breast nipples, or on perianal or vaginal/genital areas.
If product contacts eyes, wash thoroughly with lukewarm water. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician if irritation persists. Keep out of reach of children. Keep bottle tightly closed between uses.
