Suggested Use

As a decoction (simmered tea): Add 1–2 tsp of cut licorice root to 240 ml of cold water. Cover and bring to a gentle simmer for 15–30 minutes. Strain and serve. Blend with peppermint, ginger, fennel, or marshmallow root for a balanced herbal tea.

As a tincture base: Use in standard tincture preparation with food-grade alcohol, following established herbal medicine protocols.

In herbal blends: Use as a harmonising and sweetening herb in blended herbal formulas. Do not use for more than 4–6 weeks continuously without a break and without practitioner supervision.
