Suggested Use

To brew as a tea: pour 240ml (8 oz) of boiling water over 1–2 teaspoons of herb. Cover and steep for 5–10 minutes, strain, and serve. Can also be simmered as a decoction for 20–30 minutes for a stronger brew. Drink 1–3 cups daily. Astragalus has a mild, slightly sweet flavour that pairs well with other tonic herbs such as ginger or licorice root.
